The City of Vienna is seeking sealed bids for the sale of a 1/3 acre tract of real property located at 129 Carpenter St., Vienna, WV, Tax Map 14, Parcel No. 5 Deed Book 1209/351.

 

Property Description:

 

BEGINNING at a stake or pipe on the easterly line of Florence Chichester’s 6.10 acre tract of land, at the common corner of Edit Burdaras and Peter Jackson, and running thence with the common line of the part of the first part and the party of the second part, N.27 degrees 30’ E.346.5 feet to a stake or pipe in the Samuel McAtee line, a common corner of the parties of this deed; thence with McAtee and Chicester line N. 26 degrees 15’w. 81.25 feet to a pipe in said line; thence S. 18 W. 398 feet, more or less, to the place of beginning containing 1/3 acre, more or less.

 

More commonly known as: 129 Carpenter St., Vienna, WV 26105.

 

Sealed bids will be received at the Vienna City Building, 609 29th Street, Vienna, WV 26105, until 9:00AM on August 07, 2015, at the above address, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. No bid may be withdrawn after that time for a period of sixty (60) days.

 

Bids received after that time will not be accepted and will be returned to the bidder unopened. Sealed proposals should be clearly marked âSealed Bid: 129 Carpenter St., Vienna, WVã

 

Prospective bidders may contact the office of the Mayor between the hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, for additional information regarding the property at (304) 295-6081. Bidders must pay all closing costs. A reserve is hereby set with respect to the price of the property. The City makes no warranties as to quality of title. The property is sold as is with no other warranties express or implied. Final sale is subject to bid approval by the Vienna City Council. Final transfer of the property is subject to two readings by Ordinance approving the sale of the property. The City may reject any and all bids for any reason. All sales are final.
