Notice is hereby given that VINDEX ENERGY CORPORATION, 100 TYGART DRIVE, GRAFTON, wv 26354 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600 for a significant permit revision to Article 3 permit number O009683 in order to change a 1.00 acre portion of the permit area to a Light Industry & Commercial Services post-mining land use.
The revised permit will discharge into Beaver Rn of Potomac Rv and is located 4.5 miles southeast of Bayard, in the Union/Davis District of Grant/ Tucker County, Longitude 79o 19’ 4.0000” and Latitude 39o 12’ 47.0000” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map.)

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the surface mining application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until October 28, 2106, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication. A copy of the application will be available for review until October 28, 2106, or thirty days from the date of final publication in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above AND in the Grant and Tucker County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours.
