Notice is hereby given that METTIKI COAL (WV), LLC, 1146 MONARCH ST, STE 350, LEXINGTON, KY 40513 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 150.2 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number O202000 to operate a refuse disposal facility in the N/A seam of coal. The operation is discharging into an UNT of an UNT of Beaver Creek, of the Blackwater River, of the Black Fork River, of the Cheat River of the Monongahela River and is located 6.5 miles northeast of Davis, West Virginia in Davis District of Tucker County, Longitude 79o 22’ 33” and Latitude 39o 11’ 37” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
