Additional DHHR LIHEAP Funds
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE: Availability of a federal grant plan for public review for the proposed use and distribution of additional funds for FY 2018-2019. The purpose is to receive comment on the proposed use of additional Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) funds for the remainder of FY 2018-2019. The grant plan reviewed will be the WV Department of Health and Human Resources Bureau for Children and Families, LIHEAP Weatherization Assistance Program. A public hearing will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019, at 10:00 AM, at 1900 Kanawha Blvd., East, Capitol Complex, Building 3, Conference Room 703. All written comments must be received before 5:00 PM, on May 20, 2019. Copies of the proposal are available starting April 29, 2019, by accessing the following website: www.dhhr.wv.gov/bcf/Pages/default.aspx or by writing: Bureau for Children and Families, Department of Health and Human Resources, Attn: Jessica Dale, Room B-18, 350 Capitol Street, Charleston, WV, 25301. Limited copies will be available at the hearing. The public comment period will begin on April 29, 2019.
