Sealed Bids: Sealed bids for the construction of the Greenbrier County Sports Complex – Mass Grading will be received until June 10, 2019, at 10:00 AM at the Greenbrier County Courthouse; 912 Court Street, North; Lewisburg, West Virginia 24901, at which time and place all Bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids received after the scheduled closing time will be returned un-opened to the bidders. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.
Contractor License: Any Contractor submitting a bid must be licensed by the State of West Virginia. License numbers must be written on the face of the bid envelope. No bid will be opened unless it contains the Contractor’s license number. See Instructions to Bidders for additional bidding requirements.
Work To Be Done: The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to Perform the Mass Grading of the Greenbrier Countv Sports Complex as shown on the construction drawings. In general, construction consists of mass grading the site, installing the entrance road and associated stream crossing culvert, installing the storm drainage system associated with the site, and all other necessary appurtenances necessary to complete the mass grading of the site. The work will be awarded in one (1) contract.
Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting: A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the Greenbrier County Sports Complex on Harper Road in Lewisburg, West Virginia, on May 20, 2019, at 10:00 AM.

Bonds: All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the Contract amount. All bonds must appear on the Treasury Department’s most current Circular 570 Listing.
The Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise.
