It appearing by petition and affidavit filed in this action that Carl Weber, Sr. is the father of C.E.W., Jr., the minor who is the subject of this action, and that Petitioner knows not his residence nor whereabouts. Therefore, it is the purpose of this publication to provide notice to said Respondent that a hearing shall be held on Petitioner’s “Petition for Adoption” in the Circuit Court of Fayette County on December 12, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. before the Fayette County Circuit Court Judge at his courtroom located in the Fayette County Courthouse, Fayetteville, West Virginia, and that you may be present at said hearing should you so desire. Please be advised that the hearing may be rescheduled without further notice or publication and further that if you wish you may serve upon Leah Sills, attorney for the Petitioner, an answer, including any related counterclaim or defense you may have to the “Petition for Adoption” filed in this action within thirty (30) days of the publication of this notice at 125 Green Lane, Lewisburg, WV 24901. A copy of said Petition can be obtained from the Circuit Clerk at her office located at 100 North Court Street, Fayetteville, West Virginia 25840. If you fail to answer said petition or appear at the hearing please be advised that judgment may be taken against you for the relief demanded in the Petition.
