THE OBJECT OF THIS SUIT IS ADOPTION.
You are hereby notified that a hearing before the Honorable Debra McLaughlin on the above styled PETITION FOR ADOPTION will take place at the Morgan County Courthouse in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, on September 19, 2024, at 2:30 p.m., at which time Petitioners will move the Court for the entry of an Order containing the relief prayed for in their Petition, at which time you may wish to be appear and defend your parental rights.
You are further ordered to serve upon Petitioners’ counsel, Eric S. Black, Esquire, of 380 South Washington Street, Berkeley Springs, West Virginia 25411, any related answer, counterclaim or defense you may have to the said Petition for Adoption within 30 days of the date of this Publication. If you fail to do so, thereafter judgment, upon proper hearing, may be taken for the relief demanded in the Petition and you will be thereafter barred from asserting in another action any claim you may have in the above styled adoption proceedings.
A copy of said Petition for Adoption can be obtained from the undersigned Clerk at her office.
