NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the above-styled matter has been filed in the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia, pursuant to the West Virginia Contraband Forfeiture Act (West Virginia Code 60A-7-701, et seq.). Any person or corporation having a claim to the hereinafter described property shall, on or before the 18th day of November, 2019, file, in writing, their claim to said property with the Clerk of said Court, which said claim must clearly state the identity of the claimant and an address where legal process can be served upon such person or corporation. A copy of said claim shall be delivered to Patrick O. Lefebure, Prosecuting Attorney, Counsel for Petitioners, at the Office of the Wood County Prosecuting Attorney, Judge Donald Black Annex, 317 Market Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia 26101.
Pursuant to West Virginia Code 60A-7-705 (c)(1-6), the following information is given: (1) the property seized which is the subject of the petition filed is $5,900.00 in United States Currency, Kel-Tec .32 Auto, Serial Number 59697, Sig P-250, Serial Number 576017908, Winchester 37A 20 GA, Serial Number C650162, SCCY 9mm, Serial Number 795763, Rock Island 1911 .45 Auto, Serial Number R1A1945665, Mossburg Model 88 20 GA, Serial Number MV04706s, Savage Axis .308 Win, Serial Number N065554, XD9 9mm, Serial Number US915636, Rossi .243 Win, Serial Number CA008942, New England .243, Serial Number NU272954, and Mossburg 12 GA, Serial Number K943169; (2) the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force is responsible for the seizure; (3) the property was seized on September 13, 2019 at 701 Summers Street, Parkersburg, Wood County West Virginia; (4) the only owners of the property subject to forfeiture known to Petitioners is Kenneth Dale Peters, whose address is 701 Summers Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia and/or Racheal Ann Bunner, whose address is 701 Summers Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia; (5) the person having possession of the seized property at the time of the seizure was Kenneth Dale Peters and Racheal Ann Bunner; and (6) a request to the above named Court to enter an Order directing ownership of said property in the State and the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force will be made.
