TO: Shaunda Cantwell and William Roush, the biological parents.
On an earlier date came the petitioner in this case seeking the adoption of a certain minor child born to Shaunda Cantwell on the 10th day of August, 2016 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Said child is currently before the Court under said Petition for Adoption and the Court has ordered notice to the you an the biological parents that you shall appear and defend as to any rights you desire to protect regarding this proposed adoption. Failure to appear and defend can result in the adoption of this minor child any such parental rights you have being terminated now and forever.
A hearing on the Petition shall be held on the 9th day of April at 11:30 A.M. oáclock or such other later hearing as ordered before the Honorable Jason Wharton, Judge of the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia at 2 Government Square, Parkersburg, WV 26101 at which time you may appear and protect your interests. If you fail to do so, any rights as a parent may be terminated. You may obtain copies of the Petition from the undersigned Clerk of the Court at her offices in the Courthouse at 2 Government Square, Parkersburg, WV 26101. You may consult with an attorney or hire the same at your own cost but are not required to do so. You may file a written answer but are also not required to do so.
