INVITATION TO BID The owners of the Carnegie Hall are requesting bids for masonry repointing at 105 Church Street in Lewisburg, WV. The project includes: 1. Conduct laboratory testing of mortar to determine composition and color 2. Repointing of defective mortar joints on the north and west walls (approximately 2200 square feet) 3. Brick replacement as needed. The project completion date is no later than June 1, 2015 and will be reviewed by the West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office. Contractors will be selected based upon (1) cost, (2) experience with similar historic preservation projects, and (3) proven ability to complete a project. The contractor must carry out the described work in compliance with the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation. The property will be open for a mandatory pre-bid walk-through by appointment at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2015. All bids must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. February 25, 2015.
