Purchase 107’ Heavy Duty Aerial Ladder Mounted on a Custom Fire Chassis
The City of Vienna Volunteer Fire Department is seeking sealed bids for the purchase of a 107’ Heavy Duty Aerial Ladder Mounted on a Custom Fire Chassis. Bidding documents and specifications are available at the office of the Fire Chief, Vienna Volunteer Fire Department, 609 28th Street, Vienna, WV 26105.
Sealed proposals will be received until 9:00 AM on Monday, July 20, 2015, at the above address, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. No bid may be withdrawn after that time for a period of ninety (90) days.
Proposals received after that time will not be accepted and will be returned to the bidder unopened. Sealed proposals should be clearly marked âSEALED BID #VFD15-03ã.
Prospective bidders may contact Chief Steve Scholl at (304) 295-5652, between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, for additional information regarding the bid specifications. Vendors must be registered with the State of West Virginia, have a current contractor’s license, and comply with the Davis Bacon Act, as necessary. If applicable, a City business license must be obtained and City Business and Occupation taxes paid before the final payment is rendered. Prospective bidders must provide a copy of a current WV Business Registration Certificate.
