BRIDGES 3001N AND 3001S MILE 10.89, BRIDGE 3020S MILE 30.62, BRIDGE 3022N MILE 33.93, AND BRIDGE 3276N MILE 36.60
PAPER BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND ALL BIDS MUST BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY VIA BID EXPRESS. MANDATORY PRE-BID 11/09/20, 11am via virtual Webex meeting. Webex instructions will be emailed to Contractors that provide the following information via email sent to Josh DeWeesae, [email protected]; Company name, name of person to attend virtual Webex meeting, phone number, email address, physical mailing address. All work under this contract shall be completed by June 30th, 2021.
Proposals will be received via Bid Express until 3:00 PM November 19th, 2020 at which time said proposals will be publicly opened and read at the office of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, Administration Building, 3310 Piedmont Road, Charleston, West Virginia 25306. No bids will be received after the scheduled opening.
Prospective bidders must be prequalified in accordance with SECTION 102.1 of the WVDOH Standard Specifications. Contract Documents without Standard Specifications or other referenced standards can be obtained from www.bidexpress.com. Proposals must be made via Bid Express in the manner designated in the specifications, and must be accompanied by a CASHIER’S or CERTIFIED CHECK or BID BOND in favor of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, FOR AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO FIVE PERCENT (5%) OF THE AMOUNT OF THE PROPOSAL OR $2,000 WHICHEVER IS THE GREATER, and must be delivered to the office of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, Administration Building, 3310 Piedmont Road, Charleston, West Virginia 25306 on or before the day and hour named. Bid bonds may instead be submitted electronically via Bid Express. ANY BID THAT IS NOT ACCOMPANIED BY A BID BOND DELIVERED ELECTRONICALLY VIA BID EXPRESS OR A CASHIER’S CHECK, A CERTIFIED CHECK, OR A BID BOND DELIVERED AT THE PLACE DESIGNATED ABOVE ON OR BEFORE THE DAY AND HOUR NAMED WILL BE CONSIDERED IRREGULAR.
All bids submitted by bidders who have been debarred or declared ineligible by the Director of the Purchasing Division shall be rejected.
The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals submitted, and to waive any or all formalities in bidding, as it may deem in its best interest.
