CITY OF WELCH

The City of Welch will hold the following public meetings on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Welch City Hall:

1:00 P.M. – 2nd Public Meeting – North Welch/Jr. Poca Waterline Replacement Project: The public meeting will be held during the Welch Water Board Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to obtain citizen input, comments, or opinions relative to activities the city intends to include in an application seeking PY2023 State/HUD Community Development Block Grant funding for planning activities.

1:30 P.M. – 2nd Public Meeting – Welch CSO 5 Removal Project: The public meeting will be held during the Welch Sanitary Board Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to obtain citizen input, comments, or opinions relative to activities the city intends to include in an application seeking PY2023 State/HUD Community Development Block Grant funding for planning activities.

ORDER OF PUBLICATION

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

The purpose of this action is to determine guardianship of G.S., DOB: 01/30/2024, N.J., DOB: 02/05/2018 and K.C., DOB: 07/07/2014, Petitioner, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, is seeking continued legal and physical custody of said child(ren), and/or Termination of Parental Rights.

It appearing that the whereabouts of Hollia Carter, Unknown Father, or of anyone claiming paternity of infant child, is presently unknown at this time, it is ORDERED Hollia Carter, Unknown Father, or any named or unnamed father, or anyone claiming paternity of infant child, appear in the Office of the Honorable H.L. Kirkpatrick, III, Judge of the Circuit Court of Raleigh County, West Virginia, for a Preliminary Hearing on Hollia Carter and an Adjudicatory/Dispositional Hearing on the Unknown Father on July 26, 2024 at 9:30 a.m., of that day and object, or make other defense, to the Petition, otherwise guardianship of the child may be granted to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, the parental rights of the father and mother terminated.

Further, it is hereby ORDERED that Hollia Carter, Unknown Father, or anyone claiming paternity of G.S., DOB: 01/30/2024, N.J., DOB: 02/05/2018 and K.C., DOB: 07/07/2014, advised of his right to have counsel at every stage of these proceedings and that counsel will be appointed if they cannot pay for the services of counsel and that such proceedings may result in the severance of parental rights and the transfer of custody of said child unto the Petitioner.
