Notice is hereby given that CORNERSTONE PROCESSING, LLC, 200 CAPITOL STREET, CHARLESTON, WV 25301 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Division of Mining and Reclamation (DMR) located at 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840, for an Article 3 permit for the surface disturbance of approximately 71.91 acres in order to operate a preparation plant and refuse facility, and to bond within 100′ of County Route 11/5. The section of county route 11/5 within 100′ of the proposed permit area is located approximately 1.3 miles from the intersection of County Route 11/5 and County Route 13. The section of road within 100 feet of the proposed permit area is approximately 0.12 miles in length, just south of the proposed Refuse Embankment. A public hearing may be requested.
