Request for Quotation
The City of Hinton is requesting bids for the demolition of twelve (12) separate residential structures in the city limits and one (1) school building.
Individuals/firms are invited to submit a quotation to include pricing and qualifications. This must be turned in no later than Monday, August 12, 2024, 4:00 p.m. at City Hall, City of Hinton 322 Summers Street, Hinton West Virginia 25951.
Interested Parties can contact City Manager Cris Meadows at (304) 466-3256 for addresses and the specific location of these thirteen (13) properties.
Asbestos inspections on these buildings have been completed and are available.
The City of Hinton will evaluate the specifications and pricing submitted and may conduct discussions with individuals/ firms submitting proposals deemed to be the most highly qualified to provide the services required and then rank such proposals in order of preference. The City of Hinton request separate bids on each structure and would ask that the quotes be good for six (6) months.
The Bid must be to completely remove each structure to grade, seed and remove any underground utilities and cap the sewer connection.
The City of Hinton will award a contract with the individual/firm determined to be the most highly qualified in specifications and pricing.
The City of Hinton reserves the right to reject any and all bids from individuals/firms and to make the award in any manner deemed by it, in its sole discretion, to be in the interest of the City of Hinton and in accordance with the West Virginia State code.
