AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that Maben Coal LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a General Permit Registration for a coal preparation plant facility to be located near Maben in Wyoming County, West Virginia. The coordinates for the facility are: latitude 37.654722 and longitude
-81.382222.
The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be: particulate matter baseline emissions of 36 tons per year, point source emissions particulate matter less than 10 microns total of 17 tons per year, and controlled facility emission total of 426 tons per year. The Facility Emissions Total for particulate matter less than 10 microns is 130 tons per year.
Construction and operation is planned to begin upon permit approval. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
