Notice is hereby given that Greenbrier Minerals, LLC, P.O. Box 446, 119 Rich Creek Road Man, WV 25635 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Division of Mining and Reclamation (DMR) located at 1101 George Kostas Drive, Logan, WV 25601 for an Article 3 permit for the disturbance of approximately 30.74 acres (new total 233.68 acres) in order to area mine in the Lower Coalburg and all splits thereof seam of coal.
The proposed operation is discharging into unnamed tributaries of/and Middle Fork and Lee Fork of Buffalo Creek and unnamed tributaries of/and Sycamore Creek of Huff Creek of Guyandotte River of Ohio River and is located 3.79 miles, Northeast of Lorado in Triadelphia District of Logan and Wyoming Counties, Longitude 81°39’36” and Longitude 37°47’18”.
