Lowry TC-234 187-acre Tract and located on the above-referenced tract situated approximately 2,720 feet southwest of the intersection of Virginia State Routes 602 and 692 and approximately 1,090 feet southwest of Combs Ridge School in the Hurricane District of Buchanan County, Virginia.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that EnerVest Operating, L.L.C., 406 West Main Street, Abingdon, Virginia 24210, is requesting that the Virginia Gas and Oil Board (hereinafter “Board”) issue an order and pooling all the rights, interests, and estates pursuant to Va. Code Ann. § 45.2-1600 et seq. in regard to the drilling, development, and production of oil, gas and coalbed methane from drilling Unit Well No. VC-531514, containing approximately 58.77 acres, located on the above-referenced tracts.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this cause has been set for hearing and the taking of evidence before the Board at 10:00 a.m. on October 22, 2024 at 3405 Mountain Empire Road, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219.

All interested persons may attend this hearing, with or without an attorney, and offer evidence or state any comments you have. Application to change depreciation rates

NOTICE OF HEARING

On August 7, 2024, Hope Gas, Inc. (Hope) filed an application to change depreciation rates (Application) pursuant to Rule 20 of the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure (Procedural Rules), 150 C.S.R. 1 and its general ratemaking authority under W. Va. Code § 24-2-3. Pursuant to Procedural Rule 20.4, the proposed rates could go into effect sixty days from the date of filing. However, Hope requested that the Commission approve the proposed revised depreciation rates for implementation effective with the effective date of new base rates that will be established in Hope’s next Rule 42T base rate case filing. Hope anticipates that it will file its next Rule 42 base rate case after January 2025.

The Commission set a procedural schedule, including a hearing date on the Application that will begin at 9:30 a.m. on January 29, 2025, in the Howard M. Cunningham Hearing Room at the Commission’s offices at 201 Brooks Street, Charleston, West Virginia.

Anyone desiring to intervene should file a written petition to intervene within 30 days following the date of this publication unless otherwise modified by Commission order. All requests to intervene should briefly state the reason for the request to intervene and comply with the rules on intervention set forth in the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure. The Commission will receive public comments until the beginning of the hearing.
