Request for Bids

The Fayette County Commission (OWNER) invites qualified vendors to submit sealed bids for a new high density mobile track file storage system at the Fayette County Tax Office locates in the Judicial Annex. Sealed bids will be received at the offices of the Fayette County Commission located at the Fayette County Courthouse, 100 N. Court Street, Ste. 2, Fayetteville, WV 5840, until 3:00 p.m., local prevailing time, on Tuesday October 28, 2024. Sealed bid envelope should be labeled “Sealed Bid for Tax Office Shelving.” Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at a regularly scheduled County Commission meeting on Wednesday, October 29, 2024 at 9:15 a.m. Vendors may contact Chief Tax Deputy Terri Robinson at 304-574-4306 to schedule an onsite inspection of the space.
The work of this project consists of the following Lump Sum contract:
Installation of a high density mobile track file storage system in a space approximately 51” x 114”. Included: Drawers/trays for checks/deposit tickets for each shelf; delivery; installation. Please detail any additional services needed for the installation and include these costs in your Lump Sum Bid. Please include a 5% bid bond.

The parties to whom Contracts are awarded will be required to execute the Agreement and obtain the required Performance Bonds and Labor and Materials Payment Bonds within ten (10) calendar days from the date of Notice of Award. These parties are also responsible for any required permits.

The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all Bids in whole or in part. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of Bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any Bid received after the time and date specified will not be considered. Should there be reasons why the Contract cannot be awarded within the specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the OWNER and the Bidder.
