REQUEST FOR ENGINEERING/ARCHITECTURAL QUALIFICATIONS
The New River Gateway Convention & Visitors Bureau (New River Gateway CVB) is in the process of obtaining qualifications from consulting engineering/ architectural firms interested in providing professional services for the design and development of a new multipurpose building and related site development at Camp Summers, Summers County, WV. The new facility will support year-round usage, complete with heating, cooling, and other necessary amenities.
Professional services will include, but are not limited to: (1) preparation of preliminary design reports; (2) site design services, including compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations pertaining to the project; (3) preparation of bidding and contracting documents; (4) assistance with bid evaluation and selection; (5) periodic monitoring and inspection of construction activities to ensure compliance with design plans and specifications; (6) review and approval of contractor pay estimates; (7) preparation and delivery of final “As Built” drawings in GIS format, georeferenced with appropriate real-world coordinates and accompanied by comprehensive descriptive metadata; and (8) any other services needed by the New River Gateway CVB for the implementation of the project.
Procurement of these services shall be in accordance with West Virginia Code Chapter 5G and Federal Register 2 CFR 200.320. Consultants interested in being considered for this project must submit detailed qualifications, including technical expertise, management and staffing capabilities, and related prior experience.
Submission Requirements:
Please submit one (1) original, three (3) copies, and one (1) digital format submission of all requested information to the New River Gateway CVB and one (1) copy and (1) email submission to Region I PDC.

Project Funding:
Attention is directed to the fact that this project may be funded through multiple sources, including but not limited to the West Virginia Infrastructure and Jobs Development Council (WVIJDC), the USDA Rural Development, the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC), and other federal, state, or local sources.
