ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids will be received by the Raleigh County Commission, 116 ½ Heber Street, Beckley, West Virginia 25801, at the specified dates and times for the following work:
Mini Excavator Loader Bid, until 10:00 A.M., L.P.T. on
November 12, 2024.
Following the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids, all proposals that have been submitted in accordance with the conditions of this project will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The work to be bid upon is described as follows:
Mini Excavator Loader Bid
Bids shall be received by the Raleigh County Commission for furnishing and delivering one (1) Mini Excavator Loader. The machine shall have an excavating force of between 8,000 to 10,000 pounds. The operator cab shall be equipped with 24 -inch bucket, a heater and air conditioner and have 3-way auxiliary hydraulics for boom attached quick-connect accessories. The equipment supplied shall be a new, unused, and current year production model equipped as described in the Specifications. Bidders shall submit a base price less any government discounts available. Interested bidders can obtain bid documents from the Raleigh Commission.
Any questions about the meaning, the intent or the specification must be inquired into by the Bidder in writing by 4:00 PM, November 7, 2024. Email all questions to Roger J. Kennedy, Chapman Technical Group at: [email protected].
Specifications may be obtained from the offices of Chapman Technical Group, 200 Sixth Avenue, St. Albans, West Virginia 25177 for a non-refundable fee of $100.00 per set. Bidders may also obtain bidding documents through Chapman Technical Group’s Plan Room on its website at www.chaptech.com. There is no cost for the Equipment Bid specifications. Bidding documents may be examined at one of the following locations during regular business hours:

Each Bid for the Mini Excavator Loader shall be submitted on the Bidder’s standard equipment bid proposal format and included in a sealed envelope if mailed with the following information written on the outside of the envelope:

“Name and Address of Bidder”, Raleigh County Commission, Bid on Mini Excavator Loader, to be opened at 10:00 A.M., L.P.T. on November 12, 2024.
Electronic bid submission is acceptable as long as such is received by 9:00 A.M., L.P.T., November 12, 2024, and shall be submitted to [email protected].
No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the time of the opening of the Bids.
The Raleigh County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities therein.
