Raleigh County CAT 6A System Cabling – Request For Proposals

The Raleigh County Commission (RCC) will be accepting bids for a Category 6A cabling solution. Interested bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference at the RCC, on January 6, 2025 1:30pm (in case of inclement weather January 8, 1:30pm). Pricing must include all labor, materials, and supervision for a completed cabling project. The cabling system must extend to approximately 150 cable drops including the basement, 1st floor, and 2nd floor of the Raleigh County Courthouse. The main Equipment Room shall include rack mount patch panels to accommodate all network drops. All cabling must be installed, secured, supported, fire-stopped, labeled and tested in accordance with applicable ANSI-TIA/EIA and NEC/NFPA codes and the BICSI TDM Methods Manual. All existing unused cabling must be removed. Cabling installed and tested by BICSI certified cabling technicians under the direction of a BICSI Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD) is desired. Completed cabling must be tested, certified, labeled, and documented in digital and hardcopy formats. As-built documentation must also be provided in electronic format. Most of the work must be completed during non-business hours due to equipment noise. All interested parties may contact Chris Roseberry (Global Science & Technology) at 304-890-1085. This is a drug-free workplace and the RCC reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids
