The Fayette County Commission invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for Repair and Replacement of Historic Tiles at the Fayette County Courthouse, Fayetteville, West Virginia. Sealed bids will be received at the offices of the Fayette County Commission, located at the Fayette County Courthouse, 100 Court Street, Fayetteville, West Virginia 25840, until 3:00 p.m., local prevailing time, on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at a regularly scheduled County Commission meeting on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at or shortly after 9:30 a.m.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Fayette County Courthouse, Commission Chambers.
The work of this project consists of the following Lump Sum contract:
• Secure appropriately color and size matched tiles from a historic reproduction vendor.
• Remove and replace cracked or loose tiles with color-matched tiles.
• Reset loose and/or raised tiles.
