Petition for consent and approval of the
Dissolution of Brenton Public Service District.
NOTICE OF FILING
On November 25, 2024, the Wyoming County Commission filed a petition for consent and approval to dissolve the Brenton Public Service District after both completion of the Town of Pineville’s Brenton/Baileysville Waterline Extension Project, and once all of its existing customers are provided a new water service connection, pursuant to W. Va. Code §16-13A-2. Until such time, the Brenton Public Service District will continue its usual operation.
Anyone desiring to protest or intervene should file a written protest or notice of the intervention within 30 days following the date of this publication. All protests or requests to intervene should briefly state the reason for the protest or intervention. Requests to intervene must comply with the Commission’s rules on intervention, set forth in the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure. All protests and interventions should be addressed to Executive Secretary, P.O. Box 812, Charleston, West Virginia 25323. Comments may also be filed online. If no substantial protest is filed, the Commission may approve the County Commission’s Order without hearing.
