Sediment Characterization Sampling
The Town of Fayetteville is seeking sealed bids for a professional contractor, licensed and registered in West Virginia to complete a sediment characterization and sampling plan and perform the sediment characterization and sampling. USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service will assist the Town of Fayetteville with ensuring technical adequacy. The sediment characterization and sampling shall consist of completing a detailed plan showing the processes and procedures of the bathymetric survey, sediment sample collection, and laboratory analysis for the reservoir on Wolf Creek by the recycling center (38.0430, -81.0878). All work will follow the Statement of Work, made available upon request by email to the point of contact below or available on the town’s website www.fayettevillewv.gov Any interested parties should submit sealed bids including a firm fixed-price (lump sum or unit price) to the address provided below.
Proposals should be mailed to the Town of Fayetteville, P.O. Box 298 Fayetteville, WV 25840 or delivered to the Fayetteville Town Hall at 125 North Court Street, Fayetteville, WV 25840 by Thursday, May 15, 2025 by 4:00PM. Bids should be clearly marked on the outside of the sealed envelope “Wolf Creek Project Bid Proposal.” All bids will be opened and read aloud at the Fayetteville Town Hall meeting to be held at 6:00PM on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the Fayetteville Town Hall.
