REQUEST FOR
ENGINEERING QUALIFICATIONS
The Summers County Commission, WV, is in the process of obtaining qualifications from consulting engineering firms interested in providing advice and services for the Forest Hill Water Extension Project.
These services include, but are not limited to, project design and construction administration services for the provision of public water service to customers in the Forest Hill community. The consultant will work closely with the Summers County Commission, Region I Planning & Development Council, and other project team members.
Procurement of said services shall be in accordance with West Virginia Code Chapter 5G and 2 CFR 200. Consultants interested in being considered for this project must submit a proposal detailing qualifications, technical expertise, management, staffing capabilities, and related prior experience.
Please submit one (1) original, three (3) copies, and one (1) digital format submission of all requested information to Summers County Commission, and one (1) copy, and one (1) email submission to Region I PDC at the addresses listed below.

Proposals will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on May 30, 2025. It is the responsibility of the respondent to ensure receipt of the proposal by the date and time specified.

Attention is directed to the fact that the proposed project may be undertaken through funding sources including but not limited to HUD/Community Development Block Grant, Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC), Economic Development Administration (EDA), WV Department of Environmental Protection (WV DEP), USDA-Rural Development, Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS), WV Infrastructure and Jobs Development Council, the State Revolving Loan Fund, and local funds.
