NOTICE
The Housing Authority of Raleigh County, dba Southern West Virginia Housing, is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to perform HUD-required environmental reviews in accordance with 24 CFR Part 58 for two existing public housing properties. The selected firm will assess project scope, determine the appropriate level of environmental review (e.g., Exempt, CEST, or EA), prepare documentation, and complete all required submissions in HUD’s HEROS system. The scope of work includes site assessments, environmental screenings, compliance with floodplain and historic preservation laws, and all supporting documentation for public posting and HUD approval as applicable.
Interested parties must demonstrate familiarity with HUD environmental regulations and experience working with HEROS. Proposals will be accepted until 4:00 pm on May 30th, 2025, and questions may be directed to Executive Director Timothy Dawson at 681-443-0640. Southern West Virginia Housing reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
