PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE SALE OF WASTEWATER AND WATER SYSTEM ASSETS OF THE KANAWHA FALLS PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT; THE SALE OF WASTEWATER ASSETS OF THE PAGE-KINCAID PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT; AND THE SALE OF WASTEWATER ASSETS OF ARMSTRONG CREEK PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT AND THE DISSOLUTION OF THE AFOREMENTIONED PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICTS.
Pursuant to West Virginia Code §16-13A-18A, notice is hereby given that the Fayette County Commission will be holding a public hearing on the 11th day of June, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. in the County Commission Chambers of the Fayette County Courthouse at 100 N Court Street Fayetteville, WV 25840 for consideration of the sale of the assets of the Page Kincaid Public Service District Wastewater Assets, Armstrong Creek Public Service District Wastewater Assets, and the Kanawha Falls Public Service District Water and Wastewater Assets to West Virginia American Water, and the subsequent dissolution of those Public Service Districts.
All persons residing in or owning or having any interest in property in the territory of these aforementioned PSDs may be heard for or against the proposed dissolution.
Any action taken by the Fayette County Commission regarding this matter is subject to the approval of the Public Service Commission.
