Notice is hereby given that BROOKS RUN SOUTH MINING, LLC, P O BOX 460, , BRENTON, WV 24818 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 76.05 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number U301512 to Coal Underground in the Pocahontas 3 seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Unnamed Tributaries of/and Shop Branch, Unnamed Tributaries of/and Wolf Pen Branch all of Indian Creek, Unnamed Tributaries of/and Big Branch ALL of and Guyandotte River and is located 1.98 miles, southwest of Marianna in Center and Baileysville Districts of Wyoming County, Longitude
