Notice is hereby given that EDWIGHT PROCESSING, LLC, P.O. BOX 910667, 989 GOVERNORS LANE,
LEXINGTON, KY 40591 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 315 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number O001885 to maintain and operate a refuse facility in the N/A seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Shumate Creek of Marsh Fork of Big Coal River of Coal River of Kanawha River and is located 2.0 miles, west of NAOMA in Marsh Fork District of Raleigh County, Longitude 81º 31’ 2” and Latitude 37º 52’ 3”. (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

Written comments and/or requests for an informal conference of the permit renewal application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until September 13th, 2025, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
