TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
The purpose of this action is to determine guardianship of N.J., DOB: 05/15/2014 and K.B., DOB: 06/19/2025 Petitioner, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, is seeking continued legal and physical custody of said child(ren), and/or Termination of Parental Rights.
It appearing that the whereabouts of Unknown Father of N.J., Unknown Father of K.B., Jannette Basley and Ricky Nelson or of anyone claiming paternity of the infant child(ren), is presently unknown at this time, it is ORDERED Unknown Father of N.J., Unknown Father of K.B., Jannette Basley and Ricky Nelson or any named or unnamed father or mother, or anyone claiming paternity of infant child(ren), appear in the Office of the Honorable Darl Poling, Judge of the Circuit Court of Raleigh County, West Virginia, for a Preliminary Hearing on August 28, 2025 at 1:30 p.m., of that day and object, or make other defense, to the Petition, otherwise guardianship of the child(ren) may be granted to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, the parental rights of the father and mother terminated.
Further, it is hereby ORDERED that Unknown Father of N.J., Unknown Father of K.B., Jannette Basley and Ricky Nelson or anyone claiming paternity of N.J., DOB: 05/15/2014 or K.B., DOB: 06/19/2025, be advised of his/her right to have counsel at every stage of these proceedings and that counsel will be appointed if they cannot pay for the services of counsel and that such proceedings may result in the severance of parental rights and the transfer of custody of said child(ren) unto the Petitioner.
