REQUEST FOR QUOTES (RFQ):
Lighting Retrofit – Fayette County Courthouse

Project Overview
The Fayette County Commission is seeking written quotes from qualified vendors for the purchase of energy-efficient LED T8 light bulbs to replace the current fluorescent bulbs in the main courthouse located at 100 N Court Street, Fayetteville, WV. This RFQ is for materials only; installation will be performed by County maintenance staff.
Project Scope
• Existing Lighting:
o 32-watt fluorescent tubes (2’ and 4’)
o 75-watt fluorescent tubes (8’)
o Estimated total usage:
• 2’ and 4’ bulbs: 32 units
• 8’ bulbs: [Please verify total number]
• Required Retrofit Bulbs (LED T8 Type):
o 2’ LED T8, 20 watts
o 4’ LED T8, 15 watts
o 8’ LED T8, 40 watts
o Must be compatible with existing fixtures (plug-and-play or direct wire; please specify)
• Other Requirements:
o Bulbs must be UL listed and meet applicable energy efficiency
standards
o Minimum 5-year warranty preferred
o Delivery must be made to the Courthouse upon award
Site Inspection
Vendors are welcome to visit the Courthouse to inspect the premises and existing light fixtures at their convenience during normal business hours:
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, excluding holidays.
• No appointment is necessary..
Quote Requirements
Please include the following in your quote submission:
1. Vendor name, address, and contact information
2. Unit and total cost per bulb type
3. Estimated delivery time
4. Product data/specifications for all proposed LED bulbs
5. Warranty details
6. Total quote (including any delivery fees)
