Notice is hereby given that EASTERN ASPHALT PRODUCTS, L.L.C., P. O. BOX 884, BECKLEY, WV 25801 has submitted an application for RENEWAL of Quarry Article 4 Permit Number Q301519 to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, in order to remove sandstone by conducting Quarry operations.
The operation is discharging into Bearhole Fork of Guyandotte River and is located 3.11 miles Northeast of Pineville in Center District of Wyoming County, Longitude 81º 29’ 25.1” and Latitude 37º 36’ 15.8” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
Written comments on the Article 4 Quarry Permit Renewal Application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until September 15, 2025, or thirty (30) days from the date of publication. A copy of the application will be available for review in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above and is available at:
