TO CLOSE AND VACATE
UNUSED STREET IN THE TOWN OF FAIRVIEW SLAB FORK DISTRICT, WYOMING COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wyoming County, West Virginia Commission, will hold a hearing for a request by a property holder in Town of Fairview, near Stephenson in Slab Fork District, Wyoming County West Virginia, to close an alley in the Town of Fairview currently not being used. At the NOTICED Hearing this request will be addressed.
The subject of this request is that the Wyoming County Commission abandon and close a alley that adjacent to Lots owned by Robert an Cathy Whitmore in Fairview, near Stephenson, Wyoming County, West Virginia, in that said alley is no longer being utilized and had been previously closed or blocked on its other end or outlet. This notice is specifically addressed to the residents of the Town of Fairview as this may impact other parts of the alley that may adjoin your real property.
This hearing shall be held at the Chambers of Wyoming County Commission located in the buildings comprising the Wyoming County Courthouse, Bank and Main Street, Pineville WV 24874, on September 17, 2025 at 9:30 AM. Interested parties may appear and be heard at such time.
