Notice is hereby given that Nicholas Contura, LLC., P.O. Box 707, Summersville, WV 26651 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for a significant permit revision to Article 3 permit number S300105 in order to designate tire disposal areas.
The revised permit will discharge into Town Creek, unnamed tributaries (locally known as Bee Branch and Georges Branch) of Willis Branch all of Paint Creek of Kanawha River; unnamed tributary (locally known as Reeds Branch) and Ewing Fork of Toney Fork of Clear Fork of Big Coal River of Coal River of Kanawha River, and is located 2.1 miles west of Pax in the Plateau and Clear Fork Districts of Fayette and Raleigh Counties, West Virginia. Longitude 81deg.-17′-59″ and Latitude 37deg.-55′-18″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
