This is to give notice that the TUG RIVER HEALTH ASSOCATION has applied for American Rescue and Response Program grant from Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The TUG RIVER HEALTH ASSOCATION proposes demolition of existing building located at 662 Appalachian Highway, Pineville, WV and install a pre-fabricated facility for the provision of healthcare services.
The purpose of this notice is to inform the public that per Executive Order 11988 for Floodplain Management, the TUG RIVER HEALTH ASSOCATION recognizes that the proposed action will occur within the 500-year floodplain and that the TUG RIVER HEALTH ASSOCATION has determined that is the only practical Tug River property for this target population. The TUG RIVER HEALTH ASSOCATION will comply with all state and/or local floodplain protection standards and will take the following actions to mitigate the flood hazard/impacts by meeting all Town of Pineville ordinances.
