Wyoming County Courthouse Elevator Replacement

The Wyoming County Commission is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide and install a replacement elevator at the Wyoming County Courthouse. SCOPE OF WORK shall include demolition and removal of existing CMU shaft from basement to underside of 2nd floor ceiling. Provide and install new elevator shaft. Replace existing lift with new 2 stop ADA compliant elevator. Provide new handrail, alter existing handrail, interior staircase and balustrade. Minor interior finishes, limited roofing and electrical. A physical inspection of the site is STRONGLY encouraged prior to submission of bids. NON- MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING shall be held on-site, FRIDAY , MAY 20, 2022 at 10 AM. Complete PDF bid packets can be received by request to Alpha Associates, Inc. 304-296-8216 ext. 105. Non-refundable Deposit of $25.00 may be made via major credit card, PDF documents shall be made available via email or Share File delivery. Viewing of the documents may be made at area plan rooms, the office of the Architect: Alpha Associates, Inc. 209 Prairie Ave., Morgantown, WV and the office of the Wyoming County Commission in Pineville, WV. SEALED BIDS shall be accepted until 3 PM on Tuesday, MAY 31ST, 2022 along with required 5% bid security. Sealed Bids; marked “SEALED BID ELEVATOR PROJECT” shall be delivered to Wyoming County Courthouse County Clerk’s Office located at 24 Main Ave., P.O. Box 309, Pineville, WV 24874. Bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud Wednesday, JUNE 1st at 10 AM in the Wyoming County Commission Chambers. Wyoming County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in whole or in part, as their interest may require; and to waive any informality in bids received. Bids received after the specified time will be rejected and not opened. Bidders and any subcontractors must be in possession of a current WV State Contractors License.
