LEGAL NOTICE
The Wyoming County Board of Education will be accepting bids for gasoline, biodiesel fuel, and lubricants for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023.
The Wyoming County Board of Education and the successful bidder may mutually agree to extend the initial one year contract for two additional successive one year terms. The decision to extend the term of a contract shall be made prior to the expiration of the contract then in force. The Wyoming County Board of Education shall consider the following factors when considering whether to extend the term of the contract: vendor performance, market conditions and other analytical measures that indicate that renewing the contract is in the best interest of the Board.
The gasoline bid should be based on a volume of approximately 40,000 gallons for the year. The biodiesel bid should be based on a volume of approximately 150,000 gallons of biodiesel for the year.
Please quote prices for all grades of gasoline and biodiesel fuel. (Gasoline and biodiesel fuel must comply with specifications needed for operation of vehicles for the school board.) Please call (304)732-6262, Ext. 1301 for a copy of the bid.
Interested petroleum companies may provide their own bid forms. Bids must be received no later than 11:00 a.m., July 29, 2022, in the office of the Superintendent of Schools.
The Board reserves the right and privilege to reject any or all bids received under this proposal.
