Notice is hereby given that CM ENERGY OPERATIONS, LP, 200 GEORGE STREET, SUITE 4, BECKLEY, WEST VIRGINIA 25801 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840 for a significant permit revision to Article 3 permit number S400110 in order to add highwall mining to the mining operation in the No. 2 Gas coal seam (locally known as the Eagle Lower Split).
The revised permit will not discharge into any new streams but will continue as permitted to discharge into Unnamed Tributaries of/and McDonald Fork, Toler Hollow, and Big Cub Creek, plus Unnamed Tributaries of/and Walls Branch, Cedar Creek and Doublecamp Branch of Clear Fork and is located one (1) mile east of Coal Mountain (nearest P.O.) in the Clear Fork District of Wyoming County, Longitude 81-42-54 and Latitude 37-39-55 (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).

applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until September 8, 2022, or thirty (30) days from the date of final publication.
