Notice is hereby given that CM ENERGY OPERATIONS, LP, 200 GEORGE ST, STE 4, BECKLEY, WV 25801 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 188.18 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV 25840, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number P058600 to Other – Preparation Plant in the N/A seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Big Cub Creek and McDonald Fork of Guyandotte River and is located 0.3 miles, east of Coal Mountain in Clear Fork District of Wyoming County, Longitude 81deg. 43′ 48″ and Latitude 37deg. 40′ 9″ (Coordinates from UGS Topographic Map).
