LEGAL NOTICE
The City of Parkersburg will receive sealed bids for ADA SPLASH PARK AT CITY PARK.
Bids will be received in the office of the Finance Director, First Floor, City Building, #1 Government Square, until 10:00 A.M. MONDAY DECEMBER 11, 2017 local time and at that time and place all bids shall be opened and read aloud. Vendors shall be registered in the State of West Virginia.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL INCLUDES TWO COMPONENTS A BASE BID FOR EQUIPMENT AND TWO ADD ALTERNATES, WHILE THE BASE BID DOES NOT REQUIRE A WAY CONTRACTORáS LICENSE, ADD ALTERNATES 1 AND 1 DO. IF A BID SUBMISSION INCLUDES ONE OR BOTH ADD ALTERNATES, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE THEIR WEST VIRGINIA CONTRACTORS LICENSE NUMBER. ANY BID THAT INCLUDES THE ADD ALTERNATE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION.
Contract documents, including Technical specifications, are on file and may be obtained by interested bidders in the office of the Finance Director.
THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE FOR THE SPECIFICATIONS.
The successful bidder may be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds.
Each bidder shall. require a certified check, bank draft or acceptable surety bid bond in the amount equal to five percent (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the bid.
Bidders on this work will be required to comply with, the Section 202 of Executive order 11246.
