LEGAL NOTICE
The Doddridge County Public Library will be accepting bids for the Center Point Library Addition and partial renovation of existing library building. Project includes exterior and interior work on the existing building, which consists of demolition and removal of pavement, structures and vegetation, and other materials to provide for grade-level construction of the addition and partial parking lot repairs; to construct a new 28×50 library addition and handicap ramp, including new HVAC, fiber internet connections, gas, electric, telephone and lighting construction and connections; to re-roof the existing library building; to install all finish electrical items; to finish and apply treatment to all walls and floor and to apply vinyl siding to the entire structure as per the bid documents. Winning bidder will be responsible for any and all asbestos testing and removal. Winning bidder shall provide the following: a. Obtain and provide all permits needed for proposed work. b. Enter into a written contract for work with Doddridge County Public Library Commission. c. Provide appropriate Certificate of Insurance per the requirements of this Request. d. Contractor shall provide all equipment and supplies. e. Contractor shall comply with all applicable Federal and State statutes and regulations as well as local ordinances. There will be a Prebid meeting in the Conference Room of the Doddridge County Main Library located at 170 Marie St, West Union, WV 26456, on March 6th, 2018 at 10:00 am. Bids will be due at 1:00 p.m. on March 15th, 2018 at Doddridge County Library conference room care of Cathy Ash, Doddridge County Public Library Commission, there will be a public bid opening on said date at 1:15 p.m. Doddridge County Library reserves the right to reject any and all quotations received.
