Notice is hereby given that Kingston Mining, Inc., PO Box 69, 622 Packs Branch Road, Pax, WV 25904 filed an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840 for a Certificate of Approval for a Dam to abandon for SMA/Permit No. O301993.
The structure will discharge into Milburn Br/Paint Ck (Receiving Stream) of the Kanawha River (Major Subbasin) and is located at 6.0 (miles), northwest (Direction) of Pax (Nearest Post Office), in Valley District of Fayette County, Longitude 81deg. 18′ 50″ and Latitude 37deg. 58′ 20″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
Written comments on this application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until March 24, 2023, or fifteen (15) days from date of publication.
