NOTICE OF INTENT TO SELL REAL ESTATE
Notice is hereby given, in compliance with Chapter 35, Article 1, Section 10 of the Code of West Virginia, that on or after the 18th day of April, 2023, the following described real estate of the Welch Church of Christ, will be conveyed to The McDowell County Commission on Aging, for the reason that said real estate is no longer useful for church purposes.
The description of the real estate to be sold is as follows:
The SURFACE and the SURFACE ONLY of those certain lots and parcels of real estate situate in the Dorlon Addition to the City of Welch, McDowell County, West Virginia, and being more particularly bounded and described as follows, to-wit:
Lots Nos. Eight-eight (88), Eighty-nine (89) and Ninety (90), and Lot “A”, in Block “A” of said Dorlon Addition to the City of Welch, McDowell County, West Virginia, as same are shown on a map of said Addition entitled “The Dorlon Addition to the City of Welch on Browns Creek, McDowell County, West Virginia, Scale 1″ = 50′ from the Office of L.A. Osborn, Engineer, July, 1947 by E.C. Zick, C.E.”, which said map is filed in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of said McDowell County in Map Book 19, page 165.
And being the same real estate conveyed unto Welch Church of Christ by Ernest B. Hicks, et. al., by deed dated February 18, 1970, of record in said Clerk’s Office, in Deed Book 283, at Page 377.
