Notice is hereby given that Marion County Coal Resources, Inc., 46226 National Road, St. Clairsville, OH 43950, filed an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600 for a Certificate of Approval for a Dam to modify for SMA/Permit No. U007883.
The structure will discharge into SUGAR RN/PAWPAW CK (Receiving Stream) of Monongahela River (Major Subbasin) and is located at 2.1 (miles), northwest (Direction) of Fairview (Nearest Post Office), in Paw Paw District of Marion County, Longitude 80deg. 17′ 44″ and Latitude 39deg. 36′ 19″ (Coordinates for USGS Topographic Map).
Written comments on this application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be
received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until 5/11/23, or fifteen (15) days from date of publication.
A copy of the application will be available for review until 5/11/23 or fifteen (15) days from date of
publication in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above and is available at:
