PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
CITY OF RANSON
In accordance with W. Va. Code § 8A-4-1 et seq. and § 8A-4-3 et seq., the Ranson Planning Commission will hold two public hearings on July 6, 2015, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Ranson City Hall, 312 S. Mildred Street, Ranson, WV. The purposes of the hearings are to accept public comments on the following:
1) An amendment to Ranson’s Chapter 19A SmartCode, Table 34 Public Lighting, to allow Column Type lighting fixture in the T3 Transect District at heights of 10 ft. – 14 ft. and spacing at intersections.
2) A proposed Stormwater Management Ordinance to regulate evaluation and design standards for stormwater.
Copies of the proposed amendment and Ordinance are available for inspection during regular office hours 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays at Ranson City Hall. All persons are invited to attend and make comments about the proposed amendment and ordinance. If you cannot attend but wish to comment, you may submit written comment to the following address for receipt prior to July 6, 2015: City of Ranson, Attn: Planning Director, 312 S. Mildred Street, Ranson, WV 25438. Written comments received prior to July 6, 2015, will be provided to the Planning Commission and inserted into the official record.
