NOTICE OF INTENT
TO SELL REAL ESTATE
Notice is hereby given, in compliance with Chapter 35, Article 1, Section 10 of the Code of West Virginia, that on or after the 30th day of May, 2023, the following described real estate of the Trustees of Hands of Hope Ministries, will be conveyed to Stephon Smith, Ebony Murrel-Smith and Mary Colins, for the reason that said real estate is no longer useful for church purposes.
The description of the real estate to be sold is as follows:
The following described lots or parcels of real estate situate in the Florence Addition to the City of Welch, Welch Corporation, McDowell County, West Virginia, and being more particularly bounded and described as follows, to-wit:
PARCEL ONE
LOTS NOS. 7, 8, 9, 10, in Block A, which said lots or parcels of land are shown on a map or plat entitled, “Report of Blocks 6, 7 and 11 of Florence, see Deed Book No. 34, page 450,” which map or plat is of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of McDowell County, West Virginia, in Map Book No. 5, at Page 45.
PARCEL TWO
LOT NO. 6 and LOT NO. 11, in Block A, which said lots or parcels of land are shown on a map or plat entitled, “Report of Blocks 6, 7 and 11 of Florence, see Deed Book No. 34, page 450,” which map or plat is of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of McDowell County, West Virginia, in Map Book No. 5, at Page 45.
PARCEL THREE
LOT NO. 12, in Block A, which said lot or parcel of land is shown on a map or plat entitled, “Report of Block 6, 7 and 11 of Florence, see Deed Book No. 34, page 450,” which map or plat is of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of McDowell County, West Virginia, in Map Book No. 5, at Page 45.
PARCEL FOUR
LOTS NOS. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, in Block C, which said lot or parcels of land are shown on a map or plat entitled, “Report of Blocks 6, 7 and 11 of Florence, see Deed Book No. 34, page 450,” which map or plat is of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of McDowell County, West Virginia, in Map Book No. 5, at Page 45.
PARCEL FIVE
LOT NO. 47 1 – 0047 000 residue of riverbank – North of Blk. C of the Florence Addition to the City of Welch, West Virginia, as designated and shown on a map or plat of said Florence Addition to the City of Welch, W.Va. Scale 1″ = 50′ July 1954 C.H. Bennett, Reg. Engr. Premier, W.Va.” which said map or plat is of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of McDowell County, West Virginia, in Map Book No. 27, Page 71.
PARCEL SIX
A right of way for sewer line through LOT NO. 4 and located near the line between Lots 3 and 4, Block C.
And being the same real estate conveyed unto Trustees of Hands of Hope Ministries by The Board of Trustees of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, by deed dated October 25, 2022, of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of McDowell County, West Virginia, in Deed Book 650, at Page 165.
