The Raleigh County Solid Waste Authority (RCSWA) is currently seeking sealed bids for the supply and installation of (2) two new heavy duty truck scales and removal of existing scales and components. The scales must possess a minimum gross capacity of 200,000 pounds each, have dimensions of 70 feet long by 10 feet wide. Scale sight railing on both sides of the truck scales minimum 8 inches in height. Supply of 3 new inside weight indicators and installation of two new indicators, one new indicator to be left onsite as an emergency backup. Must be compatible with the existing software. Supply and installation of one new 4 inch outside remote weight display with traffic light as a separate line item on bid sheet. The scales must match the existing foundation piers and associated structure that is in place and contain electronic load cells. Standard warranty information and any available extended warranty information and price must be included in bid, including but not limited to lightning. Lead time must be included. Price must include all materials, labor, supplies, any crane services needed and shipping.Bids must be sealed and marked “Scales”. Any questions should be directed to Travis Kiblinger @ 255-9335. The RCSWA reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any formalities.
