Notice is hereby given that PREMIUM ENERGY, LLC, P O BOX 460, 18 CLOVER STREET, BRENTON, WV 24818, has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 851 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1159 Nick Rahall Greenway, Fayetteville, WV, 25840, for the renewal of Article 3 Permit Number S400407 to Coal Surface Mine in the Lower War Eagle, Upper War Eagle, Bens Creek, Eagle and Matewan seam of coal. This operation is discharging into unnamed tributaries of/and Riffe Branch, unnamed tributaries of/and Rocky Poplar Hollow, unnamed tributaries of/and Panther Fork, unnamed tributaries of/and Oak Branch, unnamed tributaries of/and Longpole Creek and unnamed tributaries of/and War Branch; all of Tug Fork is located 2.76 miles Northwest of Iaeger in Sandy River District of McDowell County, Longitude 81deg.50’27’ and Latitude 37deg.30’52” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
