NOTICE
The MERCER COUNTY SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY (MCSWA) is currently seeking bids for a horizontal recycling baler with a side eject door. The baler should a Marathon SE-604842-830 or approved equal. The new side eject horizontal recycling baler shall meet the following specifications.
– Side eject door with hydraulic open and close cylinder.
– 72″ bale length
– 48″ bale width and 42″ bale height or approved equal.
– 60″x48″ clear top opening or approved equal.
– Maximum 25 second cycle time.
– Minimum 30 horsepower 460 volt – 3 phase electric motor.
– Fitted with a large feed hopper.
– Must have a photo-eye, auto start and stop system
– Must be conveyor compatible.
– Must have a bale server island.
– Must be equipped with a shear blade system that is replaceable.
– The floor and platen must have replaceable steel wear surfaces.
– Must be equipped with all standard safety features and panels.
– Must be equipped with a manual front bale tie-off system.
– Must be able to produce a minimum 1,500 pound bale of OCC.
